Little Filler, Lots of Insight

I just finished reading the book and enjoyed it from front to back. I loved how it was straight to the point and not watered down with filler. The examples and ideas were great!! I also loved the instant gratification of being able to download the book and not waiting for it to be shipped to me. I will recommend this to all of my clients!!

I spent hours reading contradictory advice on SEO from the internet. This book has clarified a lot for me, and shown where I have been going wrong in the past. There is plently of practical advice, and supporting links to websites offering free services to help you optimise your sites. An example is used throughout the book (of an English door knocker seller - I'm sure the author is a Carry on film fan!) which is actually a very good choice of example - as it covers a lot of areas. It also allows the author to show hard examples to his theories. Strongly recommended and very well priced too.

There's lots of free advice out there on Search Engine Optimization, but it tends to be bitty and inconsistent. This guide really brings everything together in a simple and practical way. There are no wasted words and lots of links to tools across the web.
The author uses the example of a chap called Doug Chalmers - a small businessman in England - who is building a new website. He walks you through the steps Doug should take to reach the top of the web rankings.
I can thoroughly recommend this book - much better than the other two books on this topic that I have bought (which were very disappointing).
